Honestly… nah. It’s still great. I have both. I’m going on a trip tomorrow and taking the LCD.

Mods deleted my post about this because I guess I have to post it here where it can get buried and no one will see it… Which is just great. Thanks mods!
Anyway, this is a pretty niche problem, but IMO Crosscode is one of the essential Deck games and it’s currently basically unplayable on the new OLED deck from what I can tell.
There have historically been issues with stuttering that seem to have resolved themselves and I have zero issues playing this on my LCD deck or on my OLED desktop screen. However, on the OLED deck, for whatever reason, all of the colours are basically too bright, and as a result, are washed out. It’s to a point where it’s very nearly unplayable (you cannot for example tell when certain powered “jump” platforms are activated).
Anyone have a solution for this? I haven’t noticed this issue in other games yet (I am still installing a bunch but for example, no such issues with Sonic Mania, Hollow Knight or Gris) but it can’t just be this one game, surely.
Has anyone found a way to turn HDR on and off quickly? Crosscode is super washed out on this thing, and it wasn’t on OLED so I’m assuming it’s the HDR…
Same issue with 512GB deck. Sits on the “Connecting to [Network Name]” page regardless of which network I try to connect to.
OK, FFS, really? Europe is getting their stuff shipped before Canada?
I’M RIGHT HERE GABE I CAN LITERALLY SEE YOUR HOUSE NOW GIMME
Yup.
“Our distributor has hit a processing backlog for orders to Canada. We are actively working through the issue and will ship your order as soon as we can. You will receive an email with tracking information once your order ships.”
Kind of hoping it gets here in the next 10 days or so.

Wait are people really complaining and calling this a cash grab?
It IS exactly what I asked for - barring the upgrade of the APU (a bit, not a lot), and maybe the joycons and buttons, I don’t know what else I would want them to do. I just don’t need it yet because the product they gave me the first time is so good that replacing it would be madness. If you don’t have a deck yet you should absolutely try to get the OLED one.
I just use an 8bitdo SN style controller. Don’t need anything else.
