My Aorus B550i no longer experience USB issues with F17 BIOS. Though Gigabyte do multiple revisions on the same board so not all revisions are guaranteed to be safe from this issue.
AMD’s support depends on the motherboard. My B550 board support all 3 modes (8x/8x, 8x/4x/4x and 4x/4x/4x/4x).
When you check Solidigm’s catalogue, it’s either old Intel drives or rebranded SK Hynix drives with custom firmware. It seems like SK Hynix is only interested in acquiring the patents and top talents while the rest is left to rot.
Such an odd choice of GPUs, jumping from the top end xx90/x900 down to xx60/x600, skipping cards like the 4070 and 7800XT entirely. Side from some 1% low numbers I don’t see anything new here compared to Techpowerup, for example.
