No, with the OLED i need my PC even more. I have a PC that is a couple of years old now with a Ryzen 5800x and a 3080.
In combination with a 4k tv i can’t play something like Cyberpunk with pathtracing, stream it to the steamdeck at 1200x800 however? Then we are in a business, and with the OLED screen it eliminated the one weakness i stopped using the LCD deck for.
Its Linux no matter how much work Valve puts in its going to be hit or miss just because games are naturally made for windows, don’t personally remember any issues with Hogwarts though perhaps i was streaming it.
Anyone here, presumably in the UK, ever got the “benazcap” carry case with that little bundle?

Im mostly interested in the quality of the screen protector but the extras look reasonably priced too why not.
I prefer the feel of a plain console too but it also gets hot and i like it as clean as possible, so generally a silicone cover, thumbsticks and screen protector etc.

UK, looks like it will be here today from Parcelforce, they received it in country last night and once that happens it seems pretty quick. The bottleneck really is the time it takes GLS to pick up from Valve + them moving it efficiently.
GLS is so shit man its still stuck “on the way to the final parcel center” and having just checked parcelforce it was already taken to the final destination before home delivery today at 12PM. Guess its coming tomorrow don’t really know, but yeah they suck ass wow.
UK 512, prepared to ship with tracking at 6:59am today and it has just been handed over to GLS on the way to the parcel center at 10:30pm.
Seems a little slow if you ask me but it is what it is can only be patient.

All you guys in the US having a bad time at least you aren’t the UK we are proper taking it raw from behind, not only won’t ship over the weekend but when it does it has to be imported through customs across the ocean from a depot located two countries away. Be surprised if it wasn’t the end of the month before we start seeing them.
Finally switched to packaged and “shipping soon”, 512 ordered (7:09pm) EU.
Anybody with 512 getting a screen protector? Not even talking about anti glare but for the purposes of protection etc, i wonder does it impact anything? The touchscreen, performance etc?

Pff its SteamOS vs Armory as a handheld experience and valve killed it, no way is linux is simpler, everytime i use desktop on the SD i want to die it has to be a guide or im lost.
Yup which more than likely means you bought it in the sale right, i feel for you guys the most it was real shitty to do a large upgrade and a large price drop right after that everybody would have bought instead if given the chance.
Tbh this has been my situation for a good few years now, i spent a lot of money in 2020 on a PS5 and a PC with a 3090 and my most played game since was a mod for Xcom ufo defense, a game from 1994.
Frankly even if they were delivered optimised and bug free gaming just isn’t the same anymore, its a mess of monetisation and agendas where writers and developers are afraid to or just don’t want to take risks etc.
