For me it was 13 days between the “We’re preparing your batch” email and the shipping confirmation
Quick update: I just got my notification about the full payment being taken. My FW will ship in the next three days.
(The “We’re preparing your batch!” email arrived on Nov 8, which means that the last batch 6 order should be shipped around Nov 29)

This would be great, since I’m in batch 6 and I’m expecting to get my FW by Dec 10th at the worst. If you are right, I’ll get it far before.
If I try to configure a new AMD13 on the website it says “Batch 10 - ships late Q4”. You should consider delivery time as well, so it should be late december/early january by a few days.

I wonder if docks with multiple video ports can work. I’ve ordered a 7840 with 3 hdmi expansion cards as I have 3 external displays (they should work if connected to the right ports + upper left) but I also happen to own a usb-c dock with 3 hdmi (I use it with my work MacBook Pro): does anyone know if I’ll be able to connect all the three displays to it, with the AMD FW13?

Popos works flawlessly on the AMD 13 then? Great news! I’m in batch 6 and I was thinking of going straight with Fedora due to the (minor) issues with other distros, but pop would be my first choice. No issues with the fingerprint reader either?

I bought the audio too. I have read some comments on the subreddit about the base being more “basic” in terms of audio quality
So how does It work? Will you return your batch 1 and wait for batch 9? I thought those kind of thing were handled by the support without requiring a new order that needs to be rescheduled in later batches
I’m in batch 6 as well and I was thinking about adding/modifying some of the expansion cards in my order. Still haven’t decided yet (probably I won’t do it) but based on what I read here and there, there should still be time to do some changes without affecting the delivery date. However, I’d send an email to support asking them directly if the order would be postponed and telling them what I need to change, before actually confirming the modifications.
Not sure about this, but I think it would - at least - make your warranty completely useless.
