I don’t think Apple would be interested in the console market, it is too competitive with Sony Microsoft and Nintendo and it is too small comparing it vs. the mobile gaming market, on which they are. Why compete for a 30 maybe 40 million devices if you have sold more than 2.32 billion mobiles devices up to date, of that 1.46 billion are active.
They are. The iPhone and the iPad are a powerful mobile devices.
Why is the need for the upgrade?
Open Find My on her iPhone and select share location from this iPhone. Right now she is sharing location from her iPad.
If I’m not wrong, it was a fork of XBMC or something. I stop using it because it was not available on ATV natively. If you want to install it you have to jailbreak the device and that a lot of problems.
I’ve change to InFuse because it is in the ATV Store. It cost 9 bucks a year, but it totally worth it.
I was a faithful user of Kodi since it was named XBMC an ran on the first version of XBOX game console, after that I have it on a Celeron 4 core MiniPC, then I move my library to Kodi and used it form many years, then I found InFuse and after that I got rid of all my MiniPC’s and got several Apple TV’s 4K. Today those are my streaming devices in my household. For me the best combination is inFuse and Apple TV 4K to manage home digital media libraries.
I have one on each TV at home to access my Movie and Series collection via Infuse, besides Netflix, Prime, Youtube and DAZN (NFL). The response time and the quality is much better that the smart TV embedded applications.
Another big advantage is that Apple TV apps are updated from time to time. The applications integrated into Smart TVs do not do this. Not to mention that it has more applications than those available on Smart TV ecosystem, like I mention DANZ to watch NFL season.
It supposed to help you to reach the top of the screen with your thumb when you have small hands and hold the iPhone with one hand. Apple implemented this when they started to sell the MAX version of the iPhones. Having a big screen, people started to complain because they can’t reach the top of the screens holding the iPhone with one hand.
