Not sold out, you need to make a steam account, if you’re not in US, Canada, UK, EU or any of the others mentioned at the top of this thread then you’re unable to order.

Finally my GLS tracking updated to picked up immediately followed by leaving parcel center. Should hopefully land in UK tomorrow and be with me Wednesday.
My launch Deck almost came very quick, should’ve been 2 days after GLS got it, but back then it was Evri so obviously delivery went topsy-turvy from there. So yh its likely Wednesday or Thursday arrival, but it’s with Parcelforce so you should have no issues rescheduling the delivery for when you’re back.
I guess there’s just more decks than GLS can handle
Shouldn’t be any problems as long as the recovery image is up to date, if the 2TB is from your LCDeck you don’t even need to use the recovery image, as long as the OS on the 2TB is the latest you can just drop it into the OLEDeck.
GLS were pretty fast last time round with the original launch, just praying that once it’s in UK it doesn’t get handed off to Evri and they use DHL or at least parcel force.
Planning on swapping between etched 1TB and glossy 512GB? Either way it’s a bit too early for guides right now, your best bet is waiting for iFixit to get the OLED parts so that their instructions become available.
It won’t look as good with the etched screen, the whole point of the OLED is the gorgeous picture and the etched screen takes away from that. If the storage is the only reason you want the 1TB model then you can easily get 1TB for less than $100, and for not much more you can spring for a 2TB SSD (Western digital SN740 is one to look out for).
Everything that’s installed on the SSD will run no problem, all the settings are on the SSD so all of that is recovered when you reinstall that SSD.
Just have to think how often you’re actually going to be playing outside, whole point of the OLED is the gorgeous picture, the etched screen makes the colours a little washed out.
Yes I had to LCD which I sold for the OLED, if Celeste is all you want then sure it’ll be easier to setup mods on ROG. The battery life is really where the OLED shines, aside from the screen of course.
