Why so many questions about bottlenecks now. Like what are you expecting a current or past gen CPu to be bottlenecking GPUs?
Even if it does bottleneck, it’s on titles like CSGO where it’s already up in the 400, 500fps which does absolutely nothing for you.
Unless you’re on some old CPU like I am a 4670k, you’re fine!
If you only care about gaming performance, AMD is better value AND for more frames.
If you want a more balance system overall, go Intel.
I know the 7800x3d get more frames… but i just feel like it’s an overall weaker CPU besides in gaming where i gets more FPS. But the 1% lows is lower than the intel and as long as I get above 60FPS as my monitor only doeos 60hz(old monitor) then it doesn’t matter.
But better 1% lows means it’s a faster processor overall and I like a smoother feelign system that can last longer.

Yea your CPU is bottlenecking your GPU since it’s pegged at 100%.
I would be a waste and Intel and AMD both want people to move to new sockets so they can sell newer CPUs.
I was considering a 7700x but I’m going to go with a 13700k. I read up on issues with AM5 and there still seem to be issues. Thigns like slow boot time and the memory issues with DDR5 just nah. i want my computer to just behave and work.
I’m going to undervolt the 13700k and just go with that for stability and lower temps.
I will be going from a 4670k to a 13700k. That’s err, roughly 8 years or more? Built it in laste 2015.
What are you uses going to be? 90% gamign with some general computing use? Or do you do productivity work like adobe or whatever?
If just gaming and general use(youtube, browsing, trolling) and no brand loyalty for intel, the 7800x3d right now is in a pretty good spot for a pure gaming PC. You also have option to upgrade to a new AM5 CPU a few years down the line if that’s something you like to do.
If you do other things like video editing or adobe photoshop whatever, an intel 13700k or 14700k will be better for you.

It’s a bit over your budget and is using a 7800x3d which is great for gaming and only so so for productivity. I chose the parts based on my own research and what I bought. The CPU/Mobo/RAM is the exact same I got from microcenter here. Will need to update bios to latest to avoid any potential problems.
The Seagate PSU is ranked A tier in a PSU ranking list. That’s the same model I got except mine is 850w.
Only 1 drive, but it’s 2tb so figured you can partition one for windows drive, other for storage. Or add another.
If you want Intel CPU, just change them out and then maybe adjust the parts to fit your budget.
