Each of those devices is like $30k each. That 500k is around $15B for nvidia. That’s crazy.

If all the games you’re gonna play are in Steam and that’s it, it’s very user-friendly. If you want to get into more nitty-gritty things, I’d wager it still is fairly user-friendly, just user-friendly for the more technically-familiar (not even adept) person. Stuff like Emudeck, Decky Loader, and CSS Loader make things unbelievably simple. The community support is easily one of the biggest selling points of the deck over legion go or ally.

Then yea, SD is def worth it. He can even stream his PS5 on steam deck using Chiaki4deck. In fact, if he’s tech-savy enough, he can even stream his PS5 even while he’s at work. Otherwise, he can get the popular games on SD via Steam.

There is a decky plugin that allows you to take notes that you can access via QAM. I haven’t played around with it and it might be tough to organize it to only show this document for this game, but it’s something that can help maybe.

what case?

It’s comfortable on my hands, but uncomfy for my forearms/elbows which carry most of the weight.

hell yea! I’m playing yakuza 0 at work now because boss didin’t show up and there’s nothing to do. Steam Deck might finally help me tackle my ever-growing backlog lol

Yes imo. It feels so good to be able to play virtually anywhere. At work, commute home, airplane, bus ride, coffee shop, etc.

I was in HK and the only decent and affordable powerbank they had that was 20k mAh and had at least 45w PD was Verbatim. Yep, the 3.5" floppy verbatim brand.
