I believe it’s just gift cards for purchases? So not true discounts, although if you’re gonna spend on Apple anyway it’s not much of a difference. No MacBook Pro deals this year though from what I remember
honestly screen brightness is why I went with the pro lol, I have it at or above 100% pretty much all the time except when I’m in a super dark room and I’m reading text and not watching something
I swear there’s a new one of these every day
I mean… it’s still 2 shades of grey to choose between, just one is darker
13 for 300?? That’s an absolute steal and I would 100% go for that, unless you greatly prefer the SE size. My 13 Pro is still going strong with nearly 900 battery cycles and I can’t imagine upgrading at this point, so the 13 should still be great
I dropped my 13 pro in the toilet once, it was after I already flushed but I washed it with some soap and water immediately

As someone who would be buying laptops in a MacBook’s price range even if I went windows (no $500 machines here), they seem like pretty perfect all around machines. I’m not a power user who needs or even wants my laptop to be extremely good at one thing at the expense of other aspects, and I just love lots of things about my MacBook - trackpad (mediocre trackpad is a huge dealbreaker for me), battery life, the screen quality. Build quality and customer service are also great
I also just prefer MacOS bc of iPhone compatibility but that’s more subjective
Nope, phone app is nowhere near my top 4 most used apps. Probably not even top 10
