The actual answer to your question is no. You cannot purchase an AWU without cellular. You do not, however, need to activate it.

It tried to pair with her phone??? after it was stolen and battery dead? Something seems off.
Besides that your friend is SOL. Whoever stole it will not be able to use it anyhow due to the activation lock 🤷♂️
1·1 year agoI wish the AWU had the ecosystem that GARMIN does when it comes to fitness and training. I don’t want to HAVE to purchase other apps to do the same thing I get from Garmin
Maybe the color is not as popular 🤷♂️
