Looks interesting. Thanks for the tip!
I’ve been looking at some Assassin’s Creed games recently and just settled on Origins. Haven’t tried it yet but from what I’ve seen, it looks to be a good overall game that should run very well on the Steam Deck.
Only thing is that it runs through Ubisoft Connect, so I don’t think it’s possible to run offline. Also not sure if Ubisoft Connect comes with any other issues, but no one seems to complain so I hope everything just works out of the box.
Cool, thanks for the heads-up!
Surprised to see that it’s even verified for the Steam Deck. I’ll give it a try even though I most likely won’t ever buy it.
Update on Assassin’s Creed Origins:
Bought it and spent an hour trying to launch it on the Steam Deck without success. After logging in to Uplay, it kept telling me I have to login to Uplay in order to play and redirecting me back to the login page. Logged in multiple times but still got the same result. Fighting login screens is not worth my time. Ended up refunding through Steam.
