They have a great product, but yes, I think the pricing is just a tad too greedy no matter how you look at it. I remember when Steve Jobs came back PowerBooks (and MacBooks) got more affordable year after year.

I don’t think so especially since the case and CPU aren’t brand new anymore. M3 is the third ish generation of their desktop cpus and I don’t think they’ll change the case for a while, I was only wary of the M1 as a first gen machine, but they’ve proven to be rock solid, too.

Yes. From all I heard the base M3 will be faster than the M2 pro.
