The 13” MacBook Air is probably your best bet in terms of portability, but if you want to get something more Pro get a used 2021 14” MacBook Pro or refurbished M2 14” MacBook Pro from Apple certified refurbished

Take out and destroy the SSD/HDD if you can and then install a new operating system (windows, Linux, macOS). It might still have some residual traces left after formatting.
I have an 8 and I am literally planning on getting a 14 Pro. What did you notice most?
