The Steam Deck on launch was rough, and this product does exactly what it set out to do remarkably well.
Unsurprising.

Welp, Valve just pushed this update to Stable, and my mic does not work with Discord anymore.
Does this update fix the color temperature slider such that it actually works now?
Also, what about the random audio cap issues per reboot or the extremely dark desktop that shows up maybe 1:10 times?
It’s not so much panic as it is frustration. OS 3.5 has been in preview for 2 months, and has been accessible publicly since at least May. There are constant, ongoing bugs that have been reported on for months that do not get mentioned nor addressed, and it’s made running it an exercise in frustration.
I finally went back to stable. Yes, I know, I know, preview is going to have bugs, but when you’re dealing with the same bugs for months on end, and instead of fixes you get even MORE buggy updates? That’s where I say I’ve had enough. I was willing to tinker around and deal with the issues for the new features, but I’m tired of dealing with them. I just want my product to work.
I’ll be back when 3.5 is more stable.
Ask the seller to send you photos of the watch before you discuss meeting up. Take a photo of the back of the watch and of the crown.
Don’t rush into a purchase when you don’t have all the information. Any seller trying to be high pressure like that is likely trying to scam you somehow. Slow down, take your time, be patient.
It’s funny that this recovery image is based on 3.5.6 which isn’t even out yet on the stable channel. Whoops.
At least it has finally been updated!! Now to check to see if any custom scripts broke.
