Ok so before updating to 3.5.5 O could have my steam deck hooked up to an external monitor and have audio run through the decks’ speakers. Now it won’t even when I go to to settings and select the speakers as the output device. Does anyone know why? My monitor doesn’t have speakers so this has been incredibly frustrating.

    Same issue here. As soon as I undock it, the ‘default’ setting switches back to use the speakers, but while docked, selecting the ‘speakers’ just doesn’t work.

    Even setting it to ‘speakers’ while undocked, then docking it, leaves me with no audio.

    I am having this exact issue after docked it first time after updating to SteamOS 3.5. I can make it work in desktop mode when I switch the device, but not on gaming mode. Really don’t know what to do.
