Just want to see what everyone is doing to keep the processor as cool as possible.

Looking for maybe some upgrade options from what I am doing right now.

My trusty NHD15. It cooled a 6800K, 8086K, and now this beast. I don’t plan on it dying any time soon. I run at 253W / 200W power limits and managed to get -120mv voltage offset stable at -50mhz. I do have a contact frame installed but they are not strictly necessary.

Don’t buy Lian Li, on paper it’s good but quality control is horrendous. Mounting screws go in at an angle, pumps or fans fail. Not to mention support is awful too. Buyer beware.

There are so many good reviews for their new Galahad II coolers. Why didn’t they mention any of this?

They recently made a revision and the newer one does not have the horrible pump rattling at lower speeds as they made the internal magnet larger. But how can you guarantee that you get the newest one?

I have my 14900K in a NZXT H1 case, cooling it with a 140MM AIO with a single 120mm fan.

I’m using the Asus Z690-i motherboard.

This is the way, it keeps the 13900k at bay as well and draws like 230 watts. Sure on some synthetic benchmarks like prime95 I can push it to 95 degrees but the CPUs these days are designed to boost as long as there’s room to boost.

Especially with a mixed development workstation and gaming I want stability, so air cooling any day over AIO stuff. The difference is neglectable
