Getting ready for my SD arriving… coming from switch I can’t believe I just got all these titles for 19 euros! 🤯 I think I’m gonna like steam 😍

Dishonoured 2 was 2.99! Half-Life 2 was 0.97€!

WTF buying a steam deck is actually going to SAVE me money 😅

As a switch owner, I agree that switch games (especially eshop) are really overpriced. Steam discounts can go really low like -90%. The Witcher 3, Ubisoft games, Rockstar games often go on sale too. Especially their first party games (although games like TOTK and Mario are obviously worth it).

I’m with you there. I have both. I love that the Switch is so easy to just pick up an play. And YouTube on it is great. The Deck, even being a bit heavier, isn’t quite as convenient for a quick play, but the game prices are much better. The sales are incredible on the Deck

Have you looked for a smaller case ? The og one is really big, i picked one from tomtoc and i can easily put the deck in a backpack now. Though og case can be slotted into a suitcase using the wrap, so thats a plus

Yes, the switch is pretty fast and the battery lasts longer compared to steam deck. I prefer the switch when playing jrpgs and srpgs like persona, triangle strategy, fire emblem, and xenoblade, while steam deck feels better to play souls like and open world games. Also, I prefer playing card games like slay the spire on switch.

Thanks! I tried the Witcher 3 on switch but I couldn’t get past how compromised it felt, gonna add that to my steam wish list too 😊RDR2 is already in there 👍

i honestly really enjoyed the witcher 3 on the switch, and that’s having played on xbox one originally and pc after xbox. it was baffling to me how they managed to get it running not only well but without just being unbearably ugly. obviously it’s a lot lower quality, but i didn’t find it made it unenjoyable, just not quite as pretty.
