      I have a feeling this might be college students. I never brought my text with me to class in college (other than the occasional open book exam.)

      Many schools aren’t even issuing books any more. Teachers just do handouts and powerpoints. Then students rely on Google and Youtube.

        Yes I consider those big workbooks textbooks. They do weigh a lot and do have a lot of them. Why do you guys think you know everything I have kids that go to school and they have backpack full of books not every school has school issue iPads

      All of my kids’ text books were on/are on their school issued iPads, and have been since 6th grade. Which was 2014 for my oldest. I’m doubtful many kids are still carrying books in their backpacks.
