Crazy to me that they can release an update and it cause so many problems, including problems like the one I’m having that can’t be fixed unless I revert the update with an external keyboard

    Yeah, I wasted a whole day on fixing this shit, but in the end it did not matter, since I could not fix it. I just went back to Windows 11 on my SD. You can say what you want about Windows, but at least it works.

      Apparently you are not aware of the 30 times in the past year or two windows 11/10 had update errors for all kinds of stuff for users…

        You can easily choose not to update for both OS’s, people clamoring to update either one would be dumb. I always wait 2 weeks minimum to update steamOS. There’s also such thing as LTSC Windows where you don’t get updates (versus LTSC IoT Enterprise, both easily installable)

    same here, i cant even revert the update since my fucking dpad wont respond in the boot menu
    i dont even own a external keyboard so im just fuck atm

    It affected a largely minor percentage of the users and it happens, remember its a PC not a closed garden console. Who knows what was installed that contributed to the issue.
