For me the LE was a waste of a purchase anyhow, just a see through blackshell and a minor color on the sticks… They should have at least did different colors, but I do not expect them to supply the LE parts on a site, maybe through Valve, otherwise I can just make mine a LE.

No matter how you play it, its a great game. I have been playing it since it first arrived on steam and have watched it evolve through out the years. Great dev and community.

I would reinstall the OS and see, how hard do you use the deck to cause the thumbgrips to fall off?

Been a valve / Steam customer for 20 years, service is really good and they care about their customers. I find the issue is normally the user and how they act and explain things.

I want them to allow full ssd sizes and give me a second slot so I can then use my cheaper storage and 2 usb-c ports.

Good price if legit, you can then get a new SSD or a larger SD card as needed.

why are you asking the Steamdeck sub about your laptop and windows ?

if you dont care whats on there, valve certainly doesn’t care. Only time backing up is needed is if you did not want to redo all your work.

I play docked most of the time so the LCD is perfect for me.

well my lcd has been docked and charging for about 1 year and no issues battery life is still at ~98%

Usually this is a license issue with valve and the codecs for the video… no license no video so you get bars.

Windows sucks and is not optimized or even good for handheld gaming… community is also the best with the deck as well as aftermarket mods, fixes etc… you will not be able to fix the Legion or Rog… oh and Asus is a POS company, I HATE their armory crate software and in no way would I buy anything from them again. Learned my lesson from my last laptop with them.

There is no new CPU, just new screen and better battery and updated cooling.

I would rather slit my wrist than buy another Asus device. They do not care about their customers.
