I was wondering if I put the steam deck on the dock for some gaming sessions on the tv, if I left it on, would it say overcharge or ruin the battery in anyway.

Im thinking there would be something to stop that right? Is it safe?

    Valve used a special battery that automatically stops charging when it is fully charged. The battery will then drop to 90-85% and then charge again, and repeats. That’s it I think.

    I leave mine plugged in on my night stand and play plugged in. I’ve had a few complete drains while playing and my battery health is 93%. I received mine Q3 launch.
