I have a 1TB microSD card. Is it possible to properly format the card and preload games onto it while I wait for the SD OLED to be delivered? Once it arrives, I won’t have much time before Thanksgiving travel. I have a PC with Steam if that makes a difference.

Is your PC Linux or Windows? They have different file systems.
Well … You might have a look at this …
Boot a Linux live disc, format the SD card as Ext4 with casefolding support, install steam Linux, add SD card as a library, install games to that library… or just wait till you get the deck lol
