If you deleted ~/.share I could see why it wouldn’t want to boot into the OS, most likely have to restore via the recovery image

wolfegothmog@alien.topBtoSteam Deck•Persistent 200/1040 mhz GPU Clock, Audio Crackling, and Dock DisplayPort Bugs from Steam Deck 3.5 Beta/Preview Affecting OLED Models running 3.5.5. – Valve's Silence Raises ConcernsEnglish1·2 years agoI also have the 200/1040 bug, it’s seems that the Russian dude in the steam thread is right and it happens when the CPU clock goes to 2800mhz or higher, so any cpu intensive game kills GPU performance
wolfegothmog@alien.topBtoSteam Deck•Can I load games on an SD card while I wait for OLED?English1·2 years agoBoot a Linux live disc, format the SD card as Ext4 with casefolding support, install steam Linux, add SD card as a library, install games to that library… or just wait till you get the deck lol
wolfegothmog@alien.topBtoSteam Deck•Is anyone’s Steamdeck working kinda… worse after 3.5.5?English1·2 years agoSame, got the 200/1040mhz GPU bug and now games with TAA enabled have massive ghosting issues
wolfegothmog@alien.topBtoSteam Deck•Issues happening to those updating to 3.5.5 (stable)English1·2 years agoSame, never had any frequency bugs before updating, getting really inconsistent performance now
wolfegothmog@alien.topBtoSteam Deck•What games surprised you with performance improvements after the 3.5. update? My highlight is LotR: War in the NorthEnglish1·2 years agoNone because of the 200/1040mhz bug…so stable
wolfegothmog@alien.topBtoSteam Deck•I accidentally wrote to C when installing something and now I can't find the file to uninstallEnglish1·2 years agoIf you accidentally wrote it by running it as a non steam app it probably made a new wine prefix, they are stored in
/home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/
you can always sort by date modified to see what random string (or appid if it’s in a steam games prefix), once in the correct prefix it’s inpfx/drive_c
wolfegothmog@alien.topBtoSteam Deck•Valve, please fix the "Desktop Mode" system crashEnglish1·2 years agoWhen was the deck bought, my friend has a Q1 deck that would do this sometimes, I think it’s a hardware flaw tbh
Curious does anyone know the exact model of 2230 in the OLED models? Especially interested in knowing what 1TB SSD is used
