So I’m a Linux noob and a bit of a tool so please be gentle. I downloaded a program that I had to run through proton to install and when installing I left the path as somewhere in a “C” drive, obviously the steam deck doesn’t have a C drive so I have no idea where it wrote to. The file is taking up disk space so it’s there somewhere. How can I find it?
You must log in or register to comment.
If you accidentally wrote it by running it as a non steam app it probably made a new wine prefix, they are stored in
/home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/
you can always sort by date modified to see what random string (or appid if it’s in a steam games prefix), once in the correct prefix it’s inpfx/drive_c
