I want an Apex Encore and a 8000MT kit of RAM, but I’m unsure of the chance that I’d get a lemon IMC. What boards and kits are you guys using? Are you happy with them?

I plan on using software like blender, maya, zbrush and photoshop, but I also care about gaming and overall system stability and responsiveness so I am having a hard time choosing a memory kit. These are my current choices. I want 48GB but I would settle for 32GB if the latency, speed or stability is better. I heard that 2x16GB is better than 2x24GB for DDR5, is this true?

Getting an IMC that can hit 8000 MT/s is just luck of the silicon lottery. Nor much you can do except pray to the bin God’s.

On the other side, the Hynix 3GB M-Die (2x24 GB sticks) can hit 8000 MT/s relatively easily.
