Literally the first time I’m hearing anyone talk about input lag on the steam deck. Is it really superior if it is imperceivable?

    tl;dw:

    • 3.5 improves improve latency noticeably (a gain you get on LCD too)
    • OLED further improves latency by having a higher refresh rate

Well fuck. Just when I was like “nah im good” this happens.

The input lag on the og steam deck is actually unbearable and makes any game that is dependent on input timing just not fun. I’ll play for an hour or so on the deck and just totally suck, switch to computer and suddenly I’m a gaming god.

I love the steam deck but honestly the only games I can enjoy playing are super casual games and mostly turn based.
