I bought the phone because i got it new for half the price of the s23, I knew the battery life wasn’t great and I could deal with that but what I can’t put up with is how hot it gets all the time with normal use. I’ll browse the web while listening to music on Bluetooth for about 15 minutes and the phone gets hot, not warm, hot. Heat starts building up on the top rear then spreads out to the frame and then the front glass until I can’t ignore it anymore and stop using it so it cools down. I haven’t put my sim card in the phone being I wanted to test it a few days before switching phones so it’s getting this hot just on wifi. This can’t be good for the hardware in the long run. I want a Samsung but the s23 is too expensive, I have the snapdragon version.

I don’t have any kind of heating problems with my Exynos S22.

Only time when it overheats is when using Android auto and wireless charging at the same time. But that happens with every phone (even iPhone).
