Just curious, because personally I bought it mostly with a hope that I will start playing games again and I’m overthinking if it will be what I needed.

Steam Deck is the only reason why I still can play games. I have a family with kids, a job and a lot other responsibilities. It is almost impossible for me to sit down in front of my gaming PC or TV for multiple hours to play video games. With the Deck and especially with the quick suspend and quick resume functionality, I manage to implement some gaming time during the day here and there. Steam Deck is the straw keeping me connected to my long time hobby.
