Just curious, because personally I bought it mostly with a hope that I will start playing games again and I’m overthinking if it will be what I needed.

Lately (for 2 years) feeling kinda depressed and not really playing games, finished one title (Disco Elysium) in this time. I have some backlog at steam but I’m thinking if I’ll even use the deck…

For me, yes. I’m playing new genres and indies I never considered playing before. I don’t like playing 2d metroidvania’s sitting behind a PC for some reason. But on the couch next to my fianceée ? Absolutely. Playing through hollow knight, blasphemous. It’s THE perfect emulation and indy machine, but it packs enough of a punch that I could play rdr2 on it too.

Frankly I’m playing more on my steam deck than on my PC that has a 3080 in it. I use that one for the intensive games or if I want full immersion.

Same for me. I couldn’t get myself to playing Hollow Knight on the PC, but got it for the Switch and man did I enjoy that. Same goes for Hades, The Messenger, etc.

I can’t wait to have my SD OLED and enjoy those games there at 90 fps OLED.
