  • It is how I plan to use mine when I get it. Setup Sunshine in your PC and then Moonlight on your SD (should take you like 10-30 minutes depending on your computer skills).

Remember to connect your Deck to your 5 ghz WiFi and PC via Ethernet if possible. If not, 5 ghz as well.

The SD has a pretty powerful APU so it is able to stream from your PC flawlessly and with max settings. It will feel like native and the SD will use much less battery.

It is the way to go when playing at home.

  • Most likely going to do the same.

I have an original 2017 Switch and I have never missed the OLED screen. It is just fine for me for a handheld and 200 € price different is just a lot. With 200 € I could also get the dock so I can stream to it from my PC.

Also I hear that the 3.5 update made the LCD much better.

But I’m not yet 100% on it. I’m not even 100% on getting the Steam Deck even as my Switch covers my on-the-go needs very well and I could feel overwhelmed with another handlheld.

I’m still thinking whether to get the OLED or a discounted LCD or not get the Steam Deck, as my Switch 2017 is working well and have plenty of games for it.

But man, I would love to have the SD for local PC streaming and continue my saves on the go of the games I play on PC.

  • I am also thinking about what to do.

I have a fully functional Switch that I enjoy a lot, but also a PC and tons of games on Steam.

Lately I have been rediscovering couch gaming with Moonlight streaming from the PC, and I thought that the SD would be amazing for that as well.

I work and study in front of my PC for hours, so I don’t feel like gaming on it afterwards but love to do it on the TV or handheld.
