Playing System Shock Remake (as of right PC exclusive) with Joy-con dog controller. The circumstances being I’m on a trip with a dock, a controller with no gyro, and my Switch, and I wanted to play docked with gyro so I nabbed the joycons off of my Switch.
Not the worst way to play! Gyro makes playing so much easier. (If you use the joycon without the grip and contort your hands then the SL and SR buttons on the side mimic the rear 4 buttons on the Deck. Neat!)
The joycon is the worst controller ever. It’s relationship to the switch is a technical marvel. But the button feel is awful. Switch pro controller is fantastic on the contrary. I don’t think I’ve paid for a modern switch game for the last 6 months. The emulation is so perfect. No wonder Nintendo want a switch 2 the piracy is rampant
I dunno, have you ever had. a game where you had to mash the A button on the steam deck? literally hurts and can’t use my thumb to mash quickly enough…
Very much agree. I have a switch OLED that I’ve maybe played handheld like 4 times. The comfort and ergonomics on the joycons is just awful.
Valve being a giant chad for supporting these - I remember the patch notes lol
Nintendo is preparing the lawsuit as we speak.
I need to download system shock. I made it half way before getting distracted. It was such an amazing game. Runs well?
Runs very well! 60 fps on medium and I’m able to play at 8 watts TDP limit too for more battery life. Only issue I’d say is small UI with small text
Ok but it’s not.
Try this. Mario Wonder docked on the deck with a ps5 controller and an Xbox controller for players 1 and 2. The deck is a beautiful thing.
If Nintendo had their way it would be.
What’s the game?
It is a remake of System Shock
