Got sick of sitting at my computer for gaming long ago, and my graphics card was getting old so screw it - despite a HUGE library of Steam games I’ve never played, I switched to console gaming.

Birthday coming up and I’m thinking about getting a PS5, but just happened to have to reboot the PC and Steam popped up…

The OLED version of the Steamdeck releases on my birthday. On my ACTUAL BIRTHDAY.

Well that’s it then who am I to question the will of the Universe I guess I’m getting a Steamdeck.

    I am also thinking about what to do.

    I have a fully functional Switch that I enjoy a lot, but also a PC and tons of games on Steam.

    Lately I have been rediscovering couch gaming with Moonlight streaming from the PC, and I thought that the SD would be amazing for that as well.

    I work and study in front of my PC for hours, so I don’t feel like gaming on it afterwards but love to do it on the TV or handheld.

    Got tired of sitting at my desk at night since I’m there for 8-10 hours a day already. Decided to switch to the switch this year for my gaming needs. But want to have a handheld pc for my needs.

    Saving up for my steam deck to buy after the end the year. Christmas coming up and I’m also strapped for cash right now.

    My Steam Deck is literally in my top 5 best purchases of my entire life. Another just to put it into perspective is a ROIDMI EVA lidar mop and vacuum robot with 3 gallon water tanks in its base station. The Steam Deck is just that good.
