Hi ,

I bought an used 512gb steam deck and so far I have tried shadow of the tomb raider the demo , mafia 2 definitive edition and tomb raider 2013 and all the games keep crashing , am I doing something wrong or was I sold a faulty unit ? Can anyone advice ? Thanks

    View the Steam Properties for a game, and in the tab that says Compatibility, check the box that says Force Compatibility and select Proton Experimental.

    Did you reset it to Factory settings before setting it up for yourself?

    My first unit that I received I had similar issues. Had mad max and cyberpunk crash on me at various times. And also had issues when waking the deck up (slow and unresponsive)

    I RMA’d my unit and recieved a replacement and it’s been much much better. No issues whatsoever.

    If your in any doubt that your item might be faulty, just send it back for peace of mind.

          I have contacted the seller now and I am waiting for their response, I really don’t know what I am doing wrong maybe it’s me and I should factory reset the device again and start all over again but this time following some guides on YouTube on how to set it up correctly
