So I’ve been able to use expressVPN media server to bypass ESPN+ blackouts, but recently it’s stopped working. Does anyone have same problem? Anyone have a recommended VPN app that works with ESPN+

I’ve been a NordVPN subscriber for a while. I’m using it mainly for F1, NHL, NBA - no problems joining. No buffering too.

I’m not a NFL fan but coincidentally just yesterday I was reading that if you set your VPN to Canada and change your iTunes Store account to Canada you can get NFL with no blackouts for $20/month. All games, one app.

Is it for Monday Night Football?

I’m pissed that even as a subscriber for ESPN+, I cant watch Monday night football on ESPN. Even using a local market with my VPN connection.

It’s for NHL. It worked perfect last season. This season no dice. Not sure if related to the tvOS17 update or not.

I haven’t tried it with my appleTV. Just a VPN applied to my whole network. My IP address checks for the local market. It’s probably a matter of not subscribing to a able channel package.

Honestly, blackouts are the one reason I don’t watch sports anymore. Oh I can’t watch my local team on my streaming service because of some BS rights that exist from cable. No thanks I’ll do something else

I used to do that until I got an email from my ISP telling me to stop using a VPN on their network.
