iPhone 14 or Samsung FE 23? Need help

My husbands birthday is soon and I’m trying to decide whether to buy him an iPhone 14 or the Samsung FE 23. Currently he has the Samsung A13 5g. It’s an ok phone (good screen size/battery but mediocre cameras) he has had Samsungs nearly anytime he buys a phone except one iPhone. He likes iMessage and iPhone cameras but likes the looks of Samsung design/screens more. The last flagship Samsung he had was the S8, so it’s been awhile since he’s experienced a really good phone.

Does anyone have suggestions? We aren’t flagship people but want to invest in a phone that will last a few years.
