I use the jsaux dock to play on my monitor and before I had it to where all the sound would play from the steam deck itself since my monitor doesn’t have hdmi and I use a vga to hdmi adapter but yesterday I did an ssd swap and no I have no sound when in game mode docked, I switch over to desktop mode and it works fine I get all sound from the steam deck but only in game mode it won’t play sound anymore
Mine did this yesterday after finally updating to 3.5.5
I had to go into the sound settings in desktop mode and make the normal speaker choice default bc it wouldn’t do it in game mode. For the moment that seems to have fixed it in game mode. From all of the googling I did yesterday, it looks like a huge bug in 3.5.5.
