I was browsing the store as I always do, and I noticed that some games had different prices first I noticed it with Prey I had seen it for like $7 the deluxe edition now it’s at $4 also dave the diver is $12 and last but not least Baldur’s Gate for $35. Evidently I purchased it immediately and I just wanted to know is this something you see on your store aswell? Will it bite me in the ass, like beeing charged for the rest later on?

Its the region pricing thingy. Very nice. On another note, a sale will go live tonight so some games will be even less pricey.

Could be country settings like others commented. I live in Vietnam, and the game is ~$41 after tax.

To be fair, the Store hasn’t worked without missing functionality, persistent scrolling issues & more since launch; still can’t even sort our wishlists even, but a large part of Steam as a platform has always been non-functional on all versions of the Steam Deck.

We all work around them, really, & at this point it’s probably OK to excuse them since there really aren’t many heavy Steam users on the Steam Deck & so many of the problems may seem fixable but haven’t been touched since the original launch. Just be careful, be aware, & maybe when you can use Steam on another device for buying games, if possible. If the Steam Deck is your only way to access Steam, just gotta deal with the issues & understand there’s not much incentive for them to fix it.
