Now THAT is my kind of paint job!

Not sure why Boulders need a Gate, let alone 3, but sounds fun!
It’s so amazing I hate Steam left me behind with an outdated & vastly worse Steam Deck. Frustrated. Thinking about becoming a YouTube reviewer to get Steam Decks when they replace them.
Yep! I’m stuck with the 60hz rate.
Then again, we’re all stuck with the same Steam issues on every version of the Steam Deck since launch. Keeping my Steam Decks for now, but if they updated the OLED versions to work with Steam I’d definitely make the switch! Stoked for all the reviewers who got one regardless.
For any YouTube reviewer with as many as three subscribers, yes, the OLED Steam Deck exists.
I have been afraid to constantly plug/unplug my Steam Deck & wear out the USB-C port, so I got a magnetic charging adapter (i.e., an adapter stays plugged into the Steam Deck at all times so the port doesn’t wear out & I connect a charger to the other end magnetically).
Unfortunately this essentially ruined my first two Steam Decks so now I just plug & unplug the device constantly because that’s better than yet another hardware system break since launch I guess.
I’m mildly jealous of the OLED SD.
I’m upset, however, because even with a new edition of the Steam Deck itself so many of the most ubiquitous & persistent issues across the Steam platform are still universal on the Steam Deck.
From non-functionality on Steam to the Store scrolling issues, I still find it relentlessly frustrating how little I can use Steam as a platform on my brilliant little portable Steam device.
To be fair, the Store hasn’t worked without missing functionality, persistent scrolling issues & more since launch; still can’t even sort our wishlists even, but a large part of Steam as a platform has always been non-functional on all versions of the Steam Deck.
We all work around them, really, & at this point it’s probably OK to excuse them since there really aren’t many heavy Steam users on the Steam Deck & so many of the problems may seem fixable but haven’t been touched since the original launch. Just be careful, be aware, & maybe when you can use Steam on another device for buying games, if possible. If the Steam Deck is your only way to access Steam, just gotta deal with the issues & understand there’s not much incentive for them to fix it.
