I want to buy one of these games for right now. I’ll probably end up buying all 3 at some point but I want to try and do one at a time. I’m not worried about the price. What I want: an immersive game to get lost in. I want the world to feel lived in. I want the NPC’s to feel real to a point where I don’t mindlessly kill them.

Spiderman initially catches my attention because the idea of swinging around New York seems fun and I’m an average spiderman fan, but it seems like the combat is really repetitive. I don’t enjoy games where I repeatedly press one or two buttons for combat.

I played cyberpunk on release on PS4 so that put me off, but I heard it’s gotten a lot better now.

Everyone says red dead 2 is a masterpiece and I’m sure I would enjoy it.

Not worried about price? Why not add all 3 to your collection during the steam fall sale, which is around the corner.

RDR2 is exactly what you want. World that feels alive even if you just stand there and do nothing. I’ve spent hours just riding horse and hunt animals.

I’m currently lost/immersed in the second chapter of rdr2. I know there’s a story but it’s a game that lets you make your own way in a world that’s huge and alive. Of course the story apparently is incredible, I’ve just paused to become a roaming hunter gambler.

I’d say your answer may be environmental. Modern day nyc or 1897 US frontier or futuristic.
