Wait until Friday and maybe you will find a black friday deal on the S23 so you can get it cheaper. If you are planning long term definitely get the S23. 4 years of Android software support and 5 years of security updates are guaranteed on the S23, but not on the A54 that is a low-midrange phone with 4GB RAM (on the base model) and a shitty Exynos chip.
The S23 is by far the best compact phone I have ever owned, and the only comparable phone in this size costs twice as much (the iPhone 15 Pro)
