I am constantly terrified my Deck could turn on due to bumping the power button while I’ve got the cover of my Jsaux case on. It blocks the exit vents and I have no idea why. Is that structural? Is it to avoid dust going in? Is it aesthetic? Why?

I am thinking about drilling a few small holes in the cover where the vents sit, just so it can at least vent a little if it gets activated, so I don’t fry my CPU. Has anyone tried it? My only real fear is that it could weaken the cover enough to snap when putting it on or taking it off, as I’d be introducing a weak spot. Maybe someone has some experience with that.

Some black duct tape over the power cutout on the travel plate would probably reduce the chances of this.
