Looking to upgrade to a 2TB SSD from a 1TB Sabrent Rocket. I thought about doing a straight upgrade to the 2TB Sabrent, but currently Best Buy has the 2TB WD Black SN770M on sale. Which would work better in the SteamDeck? I’m a technological dunce sometimes and just want to know which will likely give me the best end user experience.
On paper the WD Black should be the best since, AFAIK, it’s the only TLC 2tb 2230 drive on the market. TLC matters for longevity.
Performancewise any 2230 from a decent brand should be fine, because you’re getting bottlenecked by the PCIE slot anyway.
