I will use it for school and gaming. The game I will be playing are going to be Genshin Impact and some mmorpg. I don’t need anything specific for school. My budget is 1500 CAD maybe a bit over that if it’s necessary.

Lenovo Legion Slim 5 can be found around 899 on sale USD with a 4060 modern ryzen 5 and 16gb ram. That’s a pretty good bang for buck with good build quality.
Maybe the HP Victus 16?
I’m a bit new to laptops, so I don’t really know, but its in your price range and seems to have a good build.
