For me it will be the importance of a good SD card and a comfortable pair of headphones go a long way.
That the deck is more freaking fantastic that I hoped it would be! After 1,5 year I still Iove it everyday!
To not sell my PC because there’s many games the deck can’t/shouldn’t run.
That my order would still be sitting in “Packaged Items” status 5 days after I ordered.
That I would needed to learn Linux 🤢 (damn headache) That I didn’t need to buy a mouse or keyboard despite everyone saying I should. That the simple concept of playing PC games in a couch 2m away from my desktop would make it worth it. That the battery was so shit ( I was warned but damn) That the people saying the screen was not good looking because it wasn’t oled are crazy and presumptious (cry) That the Oled would come out one month later That I would save so much more money by emulating instead of buying on switch (looking at you breath of the wild 🫠) That my switch would never touch my palms again (😂🫶SD) For that matter, I would never play my ps5, Xbox or switch again That docked mode really feels like a lower resolution console (in a good way) That I would not get my Sly Cooper (and other emulation saves ) unto the SD and should just start over. (Linux is hard)
That they would release a better version a few weeks later -_-
its uncomfortable to use in bed, laying down. I bought it for that reason and never really use it that way
The amount of work and research I would have to put into getting some games to work. Not enough games are SD ready. Battery life is horrible.
That the 64gb model was able to be upgraded to a SSD, I got a 256gb model because it was really unclear if it was possible to upgrade the 64gb model. Considering I immediately upgraded the storage anyway, I could have saved $100 if it was more clear during the announcement. We really didn’t know until a few months after the preorders became available.
256g is not enough.
