What are your thoughts on this sale for Hogwarts Legacy. Fanatical has it for 49% off so it’s $42 Cdn for regular or $47 for digital deluxe version

I’ve never played it before on any other system and this seemed like a decent sale? Any thoughts regarding it?

    The wifey and I played the “free” version for a bit, and it required me to increase the VRAM via the UEFI (BIOS) to 4GB, otherwise it simply would not start. It generally played well, but would still run out of system memory from time to time. That version was based on a pretty old release from Feb 14, 2023, and the dev team has pumped out a ton of performance updates, so I suspect it will be MUCH better.

    I was planning on giving it to my wife for Christmas, so I can’t confirm if it truly runs better and maybe doesn’t need the VRAM change, but if you look at the changelog posted you’ll see they put in some serious fixes!
