My previous phone, a Huawei P smart 2021 just broke and I’m looking to get a Samsung at the moment (but if you want to recommend something else, please be my guest) I’ve heard picks like the A52s, A34, A54 and S21 but what do you guys think? I would also be buying from ebay sellers so the prices of these phones brand new would likely be lower than places like Amazon.
I bought a 512GB Galaxy S10 for €150 recently
A24 or 34
Samsung A34.
Note 10 plus
S21 range if you can get any. It’s still very very competent, better than any A-range from even this year.
This, if you can buy this one you are set for years
If you want something recent for the extended software support… Probably the A54 for basics, A34 if on a tighter budget. Otherwise, a S21+ or S21U should be able to be found affordable nowadays. Even a used S21FE is still worthy. Granted any of these flagships are Snapdragon variants but be warned that they can run a bit hot but not as bad as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 devices.
What would cause the s21 range to run hot so I can avoid it?
Also, the s21’s I would be looking at have the Exynos 2100 (5 nm) chipset, how different is it to snapdragon?
Used S21 Ultra would be my pick.
S21, the A range is not as snappy.
Note10+
The Galaxy S22 (256GB) or S23 (128GB) are around £300 on eBay if you’re willing to buy from eBay
Same with the Note20 Ultra
honestly, if you’re not specifically interested in Samsung or have no real preference, the Nothing Phone 1 is hella cheap on amazon (in the UK anyway) and is much better than the more budget offerings from Samsung
Kind of depends on the camera and if you do very heavy gaming but pick the A54 if you don’t care about the camera too much, do some mediocre gaming (still able to run all games, the CPU is very decent) and in turn you get amazing battery life.
An used S20 Ultra
Depends what you want and how long you can wait but the A15 5g is due soon,
