Tonight I found myself in a situation where I was in the forest at night and needed to find my way back to my car. To my dismay I discovered that I wasn’t able to use my phone’s torch/flashlight because my phone’s battery had only 5% left. Luckily, and obviously, I managed to find my way back by turning up my screen brightness and using that as a light source.

In the future, is there a way to bypass the “feature” that prevents the flashlight from working with battery levels less than 5%? TIA :-)

I assume Samsung made the choice that the last bit of juice should be reserved for emergency calls instead of turning the light on for few minutes. Sounds fair to me.
