So downloads don’t continue in sleep mode. Currently downloading a lot of games, as I just got the deck – going to leave it on overnight to download. Is there really no way to turn off the screen during this time? To avoid burn in
There’s two timers. One for when the screen turns off, and one for when deck goes to sleep.
Set the screen turning off in a couple of minutes minutes, and sleep kicking in after however much you like.
It will complete downloads and then go sleep. You can leave it in charger too.
The lower the brightness the less chance of burn in
By using the dock and an external display connected, the display of the SD goes go off.
I’m not sure if this burn in is a real thing, but I’ll be downloading alot of games so for sure don’t wanna find out.
To answer my own question, there are more power settings in desktop mode. Can set timers for display dim, display off, and goto sleep.
Pretty sure as with most computers there is a display off/dim timer, which is separate from the sleep timer.
Set the dim to 10-15min, and the sleep to never.
