Every damn time I want to play the games fail to launch. I have to delete and reinstall them to play. With 100gb plus files it takes 2 hours plus to download. I get to sit and be sad while my friends play without me.
It starts to launch, shows steam logo, and dumps me back to the game page. Everything is updated including my deck.
I don’t understand why it’s doing this. Can anyone explain or help?

Does this happen to some games or all of them? Have you tried relaunching after it failed the first time? This “bug” happens to me too sometimes, but relaunching the game fixes the issue.
Otherwise, that’s really odd and not normal. I wonder what would cause your issue.
It happens to all games off and on. Sea of thieves is the worst one. Relaunch doesn’t help.
I’d factory reset, and then if the problem persists, contact steam support.
If this is happening to more than one game, it’s probably a problem with the system. If a factory reset doesn’t resolve it, it could be a hardware issue.
