I had this PowerBank way before I got the steamdeck. It says on the description that it delivers only 12W of power (correct me if I misread it) which is only suitable for phones. It also doesnt have PD afaik. I’m sure this will brick the Nintendo Switch due to lack of power if I use it while playing but I’m not really sure about Steamdeck. I have read some comments here and on social media that the SD will warn me if I use it while charging on an incompatible power source. I plugged this in and it doesnt gave me any warning. I also use a phone charger as well and it does not gave me the warning I was expecting. To summarize,

  1. Can I use this PowerBank while playing?
  2. What should I check to see if its good for charging while playing?

I’m not good at electrical stuff so any answer from you guys will be a great help. Thanks

It won’t brick your device, however it will not be very useful with the Steam Deck.

You will only be able to charge your Steam Deck once at best, while not playing (because you will drain faster than it charges) and that’s if the battery was fully charged to start with.

I may add, I have this battery and it will charge a deck from 10 to 60, and it will take hours, but yes no danger
